🏁 Training programmes & routes
Getting Started & Skill Assessment
Every new rider begins on the training ground.
That’s where we read your riding — your control, fitness, and how your body talks to the bike.
The intro stage usually includes two 4-hour sessions.
By the end of that time, we know your level and you already get your first set of technique and safety pointers.
Our goal here is simple: to understand how you move and think on the bike, so every next step in training fits you, not the average rider.

Route Planning
Once we know your skills, we plan the real routes.
We never take anyone “into the wild” without knowing exactly what they can handle — that’s a core part of our safety mindset.
When we design a route, we consider:
- your riding technique and physical condition,
- your mental endurance and experience riding in a group,
- your personal goals — improving control, endurance, confidence, or preparing for long-distance travel.
Field Practice
Route length and difficulty always match your current level.
Off-road sessions can range from 30 to 200 km per day, depending on the programme and how the riders are holding up.
We don’t sell fairytales like “Zero to Hero in a week.”
ADV riding isn’t a sprint — it’s a process.
Like any sport, it needs time, regular work, and awareness.
Short-term programmes (5 to 21 days) give you direction, help you understand your limits, and build a solid base for real progress.
Community & Group Rides
We’re building a community of ADV riders — people who share the same mindset and level of preparation.
Because most injuries don’t happen on “dangerous trails,” they happen when a rider tries to chase a faster group.
We teach not only bike control, but also risk awareness and self-assessment.
Real confidence isn’t about speed — it’s about knowing your limits today and how to expand them safely tomorrow.
Training Route Formats
Practice in motion — no rush, just progress.
We work with two main training formats: the “Star Route” and the “Rally Raid”.
Each serves a different goal and fits riders at different stages of experience.
The “Star Route” — Daily Rides from Bansko
This format is ideal for newcomers and those just starting their ADV journey.
Every day we ride out from Bansko, train on real terrain, and return to base by evening.
Advantages of the Star Route:
- Flexible route length and difficulty — adjusted daily to match the group’s skill and endurance.
- A dedicated training ground nearby for focused drills and skill breakdowns.
- Stable base, good rest, and time to recover between sessions.
Why Bansko:
Bansko isn’t just mountains and tracks — it’s also a place built for recovery.
Hot mineral springs, skilled massage therapists, cozy hotels and great food — all within reach.
On rest days, you can stretch your legs in the hills or just enjoy the rhythm of the town.
The “Star Route” means stress-free learning — with focus on confidence, technique, and comfort.
The “Rally Raid” — Point-to-Point Adventure
This format is for riders who already feel at home on the bike and want a deeper, more dynamic experience.
We design a custom route together — with overnight stays in different spots:
from wild camps and mountain huts to hotels, depending on your comfort level.
Key features:
- Live through a true ADV journey — a multi-day training expedition, not a tourist loop.
- Each route is tailored jointly with the participant — based on fitness, experience, and goals.
- We don’t sell tours. We’re not a travel agency.
Our focus is training, skills, and the mindset that keeps you moving forward safely.
Still, we never forget the beauty of it.
Every route is chosen for its landscapes, terrain variety, and the feeling of real adventure.
The Route Philosophy
Our routes aren’t just tracks — they’re a way to grow.
We’re building a community of ADV riders who share mindset, skill level, and respect for the journey.
Riders who train together, learn together, and keep riding together long after the course ends.
We don’t chase speed.
We build a culture — of awareness, safety, and pure, conscious adventure.
